I will swap my OEM leather 1990 300SL and airbag somewhen in the near future...It is the exact same steering wheel as was used in the W201 and early W124s. You can even get it with airbag...

I have a black, leather steering wheel from a W140 series. It does not have the airbag, just the wheel. Don't know if this will work for you?

Need the 90 or 91 300E wheel b/c otherwise I have to buy a new airbag.

I just got mail from the German dude that is going to send me the new(er) style R129 steering wheel and I expect to receive it somewhen next week.
I will let you know when I get it and when I am able to send you my current steering wheel. I will look for a part# as well (as you have asked).
