Is it the 240D aluminum air filter housing, upper and lower? I would love the whole aluminum setup. I have steel bottom and aluminum cover right now.....

When that pic thing would happen and I had the pic on my computer, I'd right click on it, open with paint, put a small red dot at the bottom and "save as" something else....
That was before I "became one" with Photobucket.

Well heck. I don't know what this aluminum air cleaner goes to, but it doesn't fit on either of my 240's. The "hole" for the intake is not on the right side of center on the air cleaner.

Bummer because I spent an hour polishing the bottom part before I went outside around 11:00 with a flashlight to install it. :o:o

I guess maybe it is from an NA 617? I know my '80 300TD car had an all aluminum air cleaner.
Guess I'll keep looking.......:(
