WTB" 'winter wheels' for 93 300TE 4Matic
Now that we've made it through what appears to be the bulk of CT winter (figure I'll get more snow by saying that!) we're looking to add some cheap wheels for Gretel for NEXT winter.
Looks are (almost) entirely unimportant - would prefer to stick with the original 15" size unless you resident experts tell us that there is a much better winter tire selection available in 16". Plan is to get a new set of 3 seasons for her OEM wheels once spring is locked in, then add snows on cheap wheels for next winter. Figure buying now makes more sense than waiting until the last minute . Anybody got anything that will fit gathering dust? Low cost is key, close enough to CT to pick up a huge bonus (and we're always looking for an excuse for a road trip, so close enough is pretty much anything within 3-4 hours drive - or in Baltimore, or Boston - since we're heading to each of those in the next couple months anyway).
