Hey folks. The GreaseWorks shop has a custom aluminum fuel tank designed by your's truely that we need to get out of the shop. I have the same tank in the back of my 240D and it has worked great. It is designed to mount to the stock tank mounts, so you don't have to drill any holes in the car. And it is wedge shaped so you can still get the spare tire out. It has a 1/2" aluminum coolant tube welded into the bottom to heat the oil in the tank. There is a fuel supply port on the driver's side, as well as two ports on the top for a vent and or a return. Here are a few photos of the one in my car. We're asking $450 for the tank. If you would like us to install a fuel filler cap like the one in the photos we as $500.
