Selling my brand new w123 Euro headlights

They're still in the box. They come with the plugs and extra wire with connection needed to run the city lights. All bulbs needed are included. I had these same headlights on my first 300CD with no problems.

The plan was to put them on the Roadster, but I'm liking the old school look with black headlight doors. I'll like it more once the car is painted...probably black.

Put them up on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320220742324&rd=1

city lights are small 5w bulbs inside the main reflector... early precursor to daytime running lights... IIRC they were required on most vehicles in europe

They're going CHEAP! Less than 2 hours to go and they're only $102.50. Yeah, that's like HALF price!

There where often no other other forward facing lamps on early cars, especially those with semaphor turn signals, so they put a small 5 watt bulb inside the head lamp housing. EG: 1950's VW Beetles.

This bulb lights up the whole head lamp reflector and can be seen at night in city traffic where traffic density would cause glare if head lamps where used.

Up until the 1960's, most cars drove around European cities on lit city streets with just these little 'city lights' on.

Was a time we had only one rear lamp too. So did the big double decker buses.

They seem to be coming back....the light's I mean, not the 60's !
