FS: 334mm Brembo big brake upgrade kit for 124, 129, 201

What's included:
  • Used front Brembo aluminum calipers and used brake pads
  • Used rear Ate iron calipers and used brake pads
  • Brand-new Genuine Mercedes drilled front rotors, 334mm x 32mm
  • Brand-new Genuine Mercedes drilled rear rotors, 300mm x 22mm

What cars they fit:
These brakes will fit all 1992-1995 400E, 500E, E420, and E500 E-class models; as well as R129 SL-class models from 1990 through 1998, including the 300SL, 500SL, 600SL, SL320, SL500, and SL600. The brakes can be made to fit all other 1986-1995 W124's (E-class) and 1984-1993 W201's (190E/190D) with additional modifications (email me if you need info on this).
NOTE: The front brakes require 17" wheels for clearance.

What else is out there:
Bekkers sells the identical front brake setup with new calipers, rotors, and pads for $1999 (front only - no rears!). The StopTech 355mm setup is fabulous but requires 18" wheels, and costs $2795. These are the only two commonly available "off the shelf" big-brake options that will bolt on to the W124, R129, and W201 chassis. This kit is less than half the cost of the Bekkers or StopTech setup... and this upgrades the front AND rear brakes, not just the front!

FAQ's:
The front brakes are a complete bolt-on for the W124 V8 models and all SL models, other than removing the extra locating pin on the front hub as the 334mm rotors have one hole, not two. No spacers, brackets, cutting, grinding, or anything else is required to mount the calipers. If you are not sure what size brakes are currently on your car, and would like to know how much of a difference there would be, email me with the year & model of yoru car, and I can tell you what the dimensions of your stock brakes are. This setup should provide incredible stopping power for ANY 124, 129, and 201 car and provide fade-free performance even under hard racetrack abuse.

Price:
$1200 for everything you see in the photos below. FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48 states only. Sorry, no international shipments, unless you're willing to pay several hundred dollars for shipping costs.

Photos are below. Email me with questions...

Casey, I heard that he was waiting on the check to arrive via mail.

I may put up my silver arrow set, but I would take no less than $1600. Dave is giving away this brake stuff. He must really want the space in the garage.

Austin, as you know, I already have the 300mm rears, so it's really just the front calipers and discs I'm after. I have a set of R129 knuckles, so clearance isn't an issue, but I do hate giving up my 16" rims--I love the ride. I have nearly everything on order for my suspension/brake upgrade, except for the front brake set

Casey, you should just go 300mm all the way around if you still want your 16s. 17s ride well provided you put on some good quality tires with a nice sidewall material. So you would want the 300mm 500E brakes or from the early 500SL R129. I think dave sold those already to a guy back east.

Dave are these calipers sold now.
