Make the price low enough and it will sell same day. Can't you just park it someplace away from the house? (street?) I've never heard of home insurance getting canceled because of too many cars.....sounds a bit strange. Maybe find a different insurance company?

Sounds like something a mother would fabricate to end the growing salvage yard on her front lawn.

Agreed. How would the home insurance company even know how many cars are at the house? Do they have a camera in a tree somewhere? Does an inspector stop by daily??

Why would having a lot of cars sitting around the house affect home insurance? Risk of sudden vehicle explosion? It just doesn't make sense....

Perhaps they think he's using it as a place of business, and don't want the increased liability of himself employees getting injured on the property?

Still, pretty fishy. My vote is still for the clever mother.

I've had problems with too many cars on the property, but it wasn't my homeowners insurance I heard from about it. It was the county.
