I am currently parting out a red 1983 240D the engine has a bad crank and no compression on the number 3 cylinder. Has a worn out interior, seats can be rejuvenated, dash has cracks so not good. Everything else should be working. Let me know what you need, we can work out a price and shipping.

Even if nobody wants it RIGHT NOW, you should seriously pull apart everything you possibly can from that car before it's scrapped. Trim pieces, relays, belt-driven accessories if they work, etc.

I'm going to check my car and see what I need and go from there. I know I need some trim pieces -- we have the same color -- maybe some other stuff.

If you still have the car, I'm interested in the speedo cluster, and the console if you can remove it without breaking it up. I don't care about the wood part, just the vinyl. And I'd take the window switches also.
