Look what I found or as the case may be......what I didn't find.

I MAY find it in the car wash....yes, I take my car thru the "brushless" car wash, but then again it already needs PAINT.

I do have a turbodiesel badge for a w123 that I would be willing to trade for Coda's missing "turbo" badge.

Anyone?

I ran by PNP in Ft. Worth this hot afternoon. No SDL's, although 190's were lined up! And a couple of 240's from 1977. One had black interior. Complete!

Dave? Who is "Dave"? My name is "daw" with a small d.

Do the 81 - 85 300SD turbodiesel models have the label "turbo" on the back? At least, Coda didn't loose the "300SDL" badge --- I'd expect those to be a bit harder to finder.

I could sacrifice the "TURBODIESEL" one I have and make it become "TURBO", but then there are those pegs in the back. Coda does not have holes --- the missing badge is "glued" on; no pegs.

Stopped at the carwash to check to see if they had cleaned "the pit" during the past 2 weeks. Viola'. They found Coda's TURBO badge!!!!

Nope. I'm going to put it on the shelf and leave it off. It's one less thing to have to take off before the PAINT. Time to stock up on sandpaper, I guess. I guess I won't have my car ready to make the trip to this year's Texas GTG. Someone save me a spot for NEXT year.
