there was one in the pick and pull by me 2 weeks ago. I will look this weekend if you havent found one by then |
I'm still in need of the cam bearing suport for the front of the cam closest to fan.
|
Do you have a part number?

Tom,
I do not. The dealer asked me for my engine #. Would the part # be stamped on the part? Also, would the engine # be stamped or located on a fixed plate on the engine? If so, where would I look? |
I looked at what I have it has a 616 part number. I wouldn't be surprised if all 616s have the same setup. I have a cam with the steel oil tube with a presumably good cam attached.

I only need the front bearing support. It comes in a set of 3 supports new. for about $110. I'm probably gonna go for new if I can't locate one. Anyone know if these are split bearing shells, like the crank? or sleeve bearings? Or possibly timkins!

They are solid aluminum. The cam simply runs in it with oil pressure. I'll sell you the set of three for $50. I'm not interested in breaking up the set though. If you could get lucky and find someone who broke a different one you might get lucky and get the singleton you need.

Tom,
are you able to take a pic and send it to me. I can take a shot of what I need and also send it to you. Mike |
I don't think I can today. The cameras are on the blink here and my daughter wont be back til friday. I will get you the serial number though.
If you will post the pic I will tell you if its the same or not. Tom W |
