need a triple square socket to install the hatch struts on a td

Anybody have a triple square socket to use for installing my new hatch struts on my 300td wagon?
I bought and used once but can find since
pm me if you have one you can part with.

size

By the way does anyone knnow exactly what the size of that triple square is?
I know it is equivalent to a t40.

either an 8 or a 10, i dont remember. doesnt sears carry these? if not just track down the local snap-on guy.

Does t40 equal 6mm??

Trying to stay away from the snap-on guy actually,last one i bought was 30 bucks,Sears sells it for like 7.

Is it a torx or a true 12 point square pattern? If it's just a 12 point bolt (looks like the inside of a 12 point socket), go just about anywhere that has tools and that's a very very common socket. I don't have a wagon so I can't tell you the size, but I can tell you if it isn't a torx, it's nothing special, just a common 12 point. resembles a 1/2" is probably a 12(under) or 13mm(over), resembles a 7/16" is probably an 11mm, resembles a 3/8" is probably a 10mm.
