Hi all,

I had problems with my fuel sender in my 1992 500E. so I purchased this new from MercedesShop. Before I got to swap out the fuel sender, my 500E was totaled. So, it's still new in box and has never been used.

The fuel sender is NOT 500E specific, it will work with any W124 model.

The part is $160 shipped from Phil, I'm willing to let it go for $130 shipped. I will cut you a break on price if you are able to pick up locally, I'm in Pittsburgh PA.

the fuel sender is not 500E specific. All of the W124 models, including your 400E, used the same fuel sender. So, you could use it. I will send you PM

This statement is incorrect. I called the dealer about it, because I was checking on my price. My 400E tank sensor was wigging out, and I was going to put my 500E one in it, and put this brand new one in my 500E for fun, but I figured out that my used 500E one wont work in my 400E tank...
