Hi...
Have a friend with a 1982 Euro 2.3L fuel-injected motor that lost its oil pump and swallowed itself. Looking for a used motor to install. Anyone out there know of one?? Thanx for any leads. Tobias MB

115 is a chasis number and I am not familliar with a 115 engine. Perhaps you are looking for a 102___ engine?

Benzmac:
A 115.954 motor was installed in a 123.023 chassis and was a 2.3L 4 cyl with carbs and available in 1977-78 only. The motor we're looking for being a little later and fuel injected is a 102.980 and is in the 123.200/203 chassis. It also is a 4 cyl. and 2.3L. Have located a carb motor but as I understand the intakes are NOT interchangeable. Next, would swap cylinder heads but don't know if they would swap...if they both use the same gasket I imagine it would work. Do you have any experience in this area/time frame? Tobias 300SE 300CE 190/5.0
