1981 380 SL - Parting out - Tip to Tail

I want to get the word out -
so here goes, parting out - from stem to stern 81 -380 SL, White exterior, chocolate brown interior. I am doing this for a friend so I will not be setting the prices, but I can tell you they will be reasonable. This car is pretty complete, and the trunk and back storage seat space is loaded with parts off miscellaneous 380’s, 450’s of the same era. Sheet metal real good, missing drivers door. I have not had the time to look through all the stuff. Car is actually being shipped to my place in the next week or so.
Ask and I will look to see if the part is there and price out. If it is heavy and fits in a flat rate box , shipping and handling will be a flat $ 10.00, other by weight and will be actual plus $2.50 handling. Big stuff – well - we can figure that out when the time comes

I've had a PM from a member, but no follow-up since, so I don't know if he still has one to offer....the cap is 3/4" diameter, should be the same on the door handles, not sure if your donor is same size though.

I also need one vent lever button, same car, it's black, rectangular, and with a white triangle on it....

I am sure it has it , i am amazed they actually can be pryed off, look here will this work

thanks, it's needed for my neighbors 73 450SL, its got a drivers window from an SLC and doesn't seal up right. The last one we bought never arrived, fedex broke it

I'm interested in the hard top chrome locking nuts located on both sides behind the doors. The part you turn to lock hardtop on. Also what condition are shocks? Do you have rear jumpseat avail???

no rear jump seat, not sure about the shocks but will look, and will check on chrome lock nuts

This 380 does not have the locking nuts like the earlier models. Shocks appear to be in fairly good shape, I do not think they are original

Looking through all the parts in and on top of this car and I found the drivers side window. PM me if interested, just not sure how to pack so it does not break

Whatever locking mechanism they have on hard top (located behind door) I could use. It does not have to be chrome. OK?

Here are a few things on my want list:

1. 107 725 02 94, chrome cover for front top of passenger door (above hinge)
2. 107 686 03 36, chrome sill cover between carpet and plastic sill cover, left side
3. 107 686 04 36, chrome sill cover between carpet and plastic sill cover, right side
4. Chrome screw cover on passenger door pull handle, next to door latch release

Looking for parts with no dents and minimal to no scratching. If you could shoot me a response or private message (PM) with price and condition if available, it would be appreciated.

Remembered one more part I could use:

5. 107 720 02 80, body side moulding on outside of right passenger door

Mine has some damage to the leading edge.
