W124 wagon parts

Hopefully, I'm going to be stripping a black 1989 300TE that was hit in the nose (no sheet metal, bumper or lights worth saving). In spite of the hit, the car is still drivable.

It's got 175k miles on it and has been well maintained. The interior is a light grey.

The transmission and tail lights are spoken for. Just about everything else is available, if so if you need something, let me know by Saturday. The car is getting crushed Monday AM.

THx -CTH

How are the left and right mirrors, I could really use the black plastic pieces adjacent to the mirror (the piece that attaches to the door itself), as mine have cracked. And the left side interior vinyl cover that goes behind the mirror on the door panel. And how is the wood trim in the car (Zebrano)? I am located in Staten Island and I have a 95' E320 Estate.

Dash is grey. Doubt greatly that I'll have time to remove it.
I didn't get all that I wanted from the car on the weekend, so it's still around for a few more days.

Thx -CTH

Thumbs up

Could you possibly post photos of the rubber mirror housings that go in between the mirror and the door frame? I need those.

How are your wheels and tires? I also have an '89 300TE and it might be worth a trip to Long Island (from upstate) next weekend to see what's available. I need a rear suspension spider that contains the lower control arm bushing, among other things. We'll have to figure out a way to get it off.

Please let me know when you're back and available.

What do you want for the whole car as is?

Vivian

Arriving late to this thread

Are interior parts still available?

I'm interested in

Driver's side door panel & trim
Power seat switches [in particular, the passenger side]
Door lock actuator [front passenger side]

Some mechanical / trim parts may be useful
[a jack point pad, the under engine 'splash pan'] if they can be removed without too much difficulty.
