Hard to describe - but its the passenger side, front door handle plastic piece that connects between the actual door handle and the middle of the door. It has one screw on one side and I believe two on the other. Late model w126's had this piece molded in with the actual door handle. This is for an Early model w126. Prefer Blue or Black color. What you are describing is the door handle support. I have seen many in my parts collecting journeys. And 99% are cracked. I have three that have the best support life in them. A grey, a palomino and a blue. Hard for me to believe these are $25 new when you can find them.

I am slowly making my way through the 12 boxes of parts to locate the blue.
