Anthracite Grey exterior in nice shape with Parchment leather interior also in nice shape. 203,500 miles, originally purchased at ******** on Edens in Chicago, IL for $51,774 in 1979. I have all service records from 1990 to present. All work prior to my purchase was done only at Mercedes-Benz dealers. Recent work includes new suspension pump, new suspension main valve, new alternator, etc..All new NOT rebuilt. Everything working as it should except for a leak in central locking system and driver's door window regulator. At some point, very expensive Alpine and Boston Acoustics audio equipment was installed ($1,400)--and sounds wonderful (especially Wagner's Ride of the Valkeries at 140mph!). The car is equipped with electric sunroof, Michelin XWX tires, factory forged alloy rims, and all the usual MB amenities. All chrome and rubber is in good shape, as well as all the glass. Exhaust is sound--and sounds great! Brakes will probably require new rotors and pads next summer. Engine shows compression of 160psi on all 8 cylinders, and burns absolutely no oil. The transmission shifts great. Nice and crisp with no hesitation or slipping whatsoever. There is an ad for the car in the Oct 99' Hemmings. Asking $4,000. Car is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Call me at (330) 802-7921 or e-mail for more info.

Wow!!! That is a great price. IF I was in the market for a 6.9, I'd come and see it. Who knows, if I blow up the motor for the G-wagen, I might look that way.
Good luck, (for that price you will not need it though.)

My G has only 110K miles and is perfect in shape. I would take no less than 25K for it. It is a 2 door with the 4sp standard trans and the 280 M110 engine with air conditioning. It is white in color with the stripes on it and has black interior with Recarro seats. It is so nice inside and out and under!! It was a rare find for me. I am enjoying it sooooo much. The front and rear diff locks are unreal. The thing climbs like a mountain goat.

Aha! Sounds like a nice one! I have been looking and looking since we just gave back our Trooper on lease. I'll keep searching HMN and The Star. I'd like to find a LWB model either gas or diesel is fine. Early eighties vintage preferred. Anyhow, let me know if you're interested further in the 6.9, I have one other bite so far. I'm not in a terrible rush to sell it, but would be nice to clear some space in the stable!

It is a US-Spec car with the big US bumpers. I don't have any digital pics as of yet, but if you wish, I can mail you some. I have two other very interested parties, so act quickly if you're serious!
