Bill: I think the concensus on this site is to create some sort of ratting system on all of the sellers using this site to sell used parts. I know you would prefer we buy our parts from Fastlane,but some parts are very expensive and some are not always availabile on Fastlane.Just a suggestion.

I think he missed the point - rating is spelled with 1 "t" not 2. But it is a good idea anyway.

I had the same idea and posted a poll about myself; would buyers of my used parts buy again.... and while I got great ratings, the idea did not take off. No other buyers or sellers followed. Remeber this site is a commercial site- it's goal is to sell parts. Fastlane is the seller that keeps the site running.

Point well taken.But that being said,why do we have a used parts section on this forum? I think if Fastlane was losing money as a result of this site,they would shut it down.I have spent a lot of money with Fastlane but when a part is very expensive i will buy used.
