WTB: 603.970 / W126 350 Turbocharger or rebuld kit

Hello All, I have a 1991 350 SD
WTB: 603.970 / W126 350 Turbocharger.
TURBOCHARGER MANUFACTURER: AIR RESEARCH
Does anyone know of a reputable rebuilder in the NJ area?
Does anyone know where I can buy a rebuild kit for such a beast?

Thanks
Anthony

I thought the 350 used a 603.971 turbo? Probably minor difference between them. I was informed that Ron's Turbo in Utah is a reputable Turbo rebuilder.

In the past I used and recommended Majestic Turbos in Waco, TX but believe I would prefer another rebuilder in the future, when I need one, as one had to be returned under warranty for a second rebuild after it failed shortly after being put in service.

Turbo Service

Thank you DDH ..Good tip
I e-mailed them the information....
FYI....
Yes I just got back a "rebuild" fuel pump from a "good" guy.
It looked real nice ...clear coated .....Just did not work......?
I sent it back along with digital pics of the metal shavings in the ports...
Of course it was my fault....I put metal shaving in there.....
He made good on it after 2 weeks of negotiations.....

That’s why I think I should Ask First

OK on that. Oh yes, is the impeller grinding against the housing on your turbo? If so you need a new housing, or another turbo. There was a thread on this some time back. If your just using excessive oil then a seal kit might be all you need. Brian, the moderator knows a place to get them. M&M Distr?

No ...after a visual inspection it appears that my oil leak is coming from the pressure side of the turbo. The rubber bellows was soaked. The seal must be leaking. There seems to be a little play in the shaft as well...... So its time.
The rebuild seems to be straight forward.....
The car needs some additional maintenance so ill take it off the road when I see a window of opportunity.
Yes Ill contact Brian. It would be nice to get additional quotes....
If anyone else has a parts contact please let me know.
I don't believe Phil sells turbo parts seperatly.....
