FS: 124 center storage console
Hi,
I bought this for my car, but it turns out that the color did not match...my car is palomino, but this is more of a tan / beige. With no flash, it looks close to palomino in pictures, which was decieving to me when I decided to buy it. If I had to guess, it might be out of a 93-95 model, but I don't know for sure. It fits any model, just speculating on the color. The wood seems a bit different grained than mine, too, but mine is pretty cracked so maybe that is what it is supposed to look like. It's in good condition; there is a small smudge on the front, but I am going to try to clean that off. Anyhow, since it doesn't match, I have no use for it. There is no key. Door opens and closes fine. Asking $50; this is how much I paid, I'd just like to make that back. Thanks Edit: I took the first photo out, as the flash made it appear much lighter / greyer than it is.

It's neither; it looks palomino, but once you compare it, it is lighter. I'd say maybe Mushroom colored? I'll try to find an interior color list to help me describe it better.

MB-Tex color verification
In the second posted photo, you can see the comparison of palomino to beige, code 155. That's as closely as I can describe it.

Take images in direct sunlight, without flash. That ought to remove any doubts as to what color it is.
Good luck with the sale. Sold mine today

Nice dye job. Funny how easy that is.

Yeah (Crossing my fingers)
babymog,
In my excitement I failed to notice the cover was Leather...until I had finished. And SEM has a different product (And Pre-Cleaner) for leather. [as opposed to MB Tex (or vinyl)] So far,the MB Tex product is sustainable on the Leather (But,no real wear or stress yet) (And the old friend 303 Aerospace Protectant Gloms onto the Finish as usual.)

I've used the SEM vinyl product many times on leather with great success. The secret is: the leather already has a vinyl spray-dye on it, you're just dying the dye, ... works great.
Not as good for old leather with the color worn off though.
