After all these great posts about the 500e I now find myself wanting one of these great cars. However, after perusing Classifieds2000.com there are not that many low mileage i.e. under 50k cars out there and the few I've seen the owner wants a little too much for the car. Does anyone have a better source or know of a car for sale? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I would like a lower mileage car but I don't want to spend the close to 50K some folks want. At that price, I would be inclined to purchase a 540/6 speed BMW just because it's so much newer (sorry for the BMW reference).

I'm hoping to find the best vehicle I can for between 35-40k. I hope this is a reasonable amount.

I'm going to call the guy who had the car on ebay and see if it's still available. It's a bit over the miles I'd like but it looks very clean.

Both of the cars near NY are under $35k and aorund the 50K mileage mark.
