Have a '79 TD I'm parting out (a nice, young woman donated it to us when it seized its engine on her way back east and the shop she had look at it offered her nothing for it).

So far it has ALL of it's parts, except these that I just pulled today.

It's a 300D (non-turbo), so if anyone needs any other parts, give a shout soon. I'll be stripping it and then sending it to the junkyard.





The right side has some glazing, but no deep cracks. Some chips on the edges, check pic below.



The lower bulbs were replaced with too high wattage so it melted the inside plastic (see pic below), but again, they work and look fine from the outside.




We all know how hard these are to come by, ask for any other TD parts you might need too. This TD has the steel expansion tank (that doesn't leak fuel fumes into the passenger compartment).

Cheap. There was a WTB thread here with somebody looking for a driver's side you know.

Vacuum pump is spoken for, but I think for the newer style and I think this has the older style (two lines on it, one to the air cleaner and one out).

Do you mean the vac line from the pump to the brake booster?

The interior is intact, so it has all parts, but it's a '79, so things are a bit different from the later models.

Somebody needing SLS parts needs to be jumping on this.
I'm guessing it doesn't have the roof rack cross bars on a '79. [If by some miracle it has them I would have interest]
Somebody also might want the rear hatch. You could really have a lot of parts that folks will want.....
Somebody with a newer wagon needs to get that steel overflow tank. The plastic ones will crack. Usually in many places.....

No cross-bars. Probably gone years ago if it had them. The hatch shocks were recently replaced and the hatch is good and window is good.

Yeah, the plastic tanks crack and for the rest of the life of the car it smells like diesel inside and leaks into the fender.

No caps, bundt wheels, but I have some caps. A set in dark blue and a few odd colors here and there.
