This is a SIR Tools specially constructed impact socket for use on painted lug bolts used on virtually all MB alloy wheels. This socket has an alloy insert that that is designed to prevent damage to the finish on the lug bolts. If you want to avoid damaging the finish on your lug bolts and therefore avoid the rusting of the unprotected underlying steel; this socket will prevent that damage.

This socket sells on eBay for $26 + $8 shipping from the major tool discounters. I have a couple of these available for half that price - $17 shipped. Additional sockets can be had for $12 each after the first one.
