Must of misread the post but im looking for a heater valve for a 240D which has the manual climate control. I converted the 77 to manual climate control..

Good for you! I did the same on my 77 280E. If you can't find it here or at a junkyard, this place has them new ($53). I've done business with them and they are reputable & fast: http://www.europartsdirect.com/epc-items.asp

You can also check with Rusty down in Georgia - reputable as well.
