Need original lug bolt for 1991 W126
 

I need an original lug bolt (or 2, or more) for my 1991 350SD. It has powder-coated wheels. The original lug bolts have a long hollow hex side and a silver powder-coated metal cap.

The alignment shop, that I no longer go to, messed-up the cap and it became loose and fell off. I called the dealer and they don't carry them.

All I can find are stainless, chrome, and plastic-capped lug bolts which will look icky on my original wheels.

I was hoping that one of you would have a parts car that you could an original bolt from. I have a call in to a recycler, but no results yet.

I got mine from Performance Products. Not that expensive. Search their site on the web.
You have to measure the length. They sell all of the sizes.
By the way, if they get torqued more than 80 ft pounds the break due to the thinner center of the bolt.
