wtb: '86-'91 w126 shifter console wood
in zebrano. I jacked mine up trying to refinish it, and that has to be the hardest part to find in decent condition in the jy.

Now that you have some experience with these delicate consoles, why not find another JR piece and refinish it without messing it up? You'll probably nail it the 2nd time around. I have made a few mistakes with the one I'm finishing up for W123 as well.

Finding a gen II car is harder to find that a gen I. I am
Out there often enough that I do find nice stuff once in A while. I have a piece I got a few weeks ago for the A/C Control that looks factory showroom new but the other Piece I need was already gone. Besides, I'm not sure I Could ever replicate the quality that it once was.
