Call this a feeler...my first attempt to locate a hardtop for my '87 560SL. Am interested, but on a budget.

I have the top you are looking for!! My father used to own a beautiful prestine condition 1987 Mercedes 560SL . Unfortunately his car was rear ended, and insurance claimed it as a total. The car was never seen again. The good news for you, is that the hardtop was not on the car at time of accident. It remains with me in his garage covered up. It is in very good condition. I have been looking for someone that might be in need of this top. The car was midnight blue with a palamino tan interior. The top is midnight blue with same color tan headliner. The rear defroster is in excellent condition and has never had window tint on the it. I am a former auto detailer. This car was meticulously kept, was polished by hand and NOT a buffer. This top is very impressive for its age! If you are on a budget, I understand. I will take a reasonable offer just to move it and give it a nice new home with good use for a nice car. I live in Houston,Texas and shipping arrangements would need to be made by buyer, or you are welcome to come pick it up. I look forward to hearing from you.
