Need wiper transmission for 1992 124 chassis car.

Needs to be a bosch so it will work with my linkage and motor.

I have a w124 wiper transmission. Maybe from an 87... are they all the same? It is Bosch

Yes that would fit.

However, I went the our very small local U-pickit junkyard and got real lucky. They had only two MB's one 126 chassis car and the other a 1989 260E whch is also 124 chassis. The 124 was quited picked over but no one went after the wiper motor assembly.

Well I removed it and it was a Bosch, so the next question was are the plastic gears in the transmission tornup like the other two I have. I took the transmission apart and it appears to be in perfect shape.

The junkyard prices all wiper assembly componets separatly. Wiper motor, $16, wiper linkage $6, wiper transmission $5 and wiper arm $5, but if I bought the whole assembly they would not charge for the arm and just charge $26. I told them I only needed the transmission as I already have two good motors, arms, and linkages.

I have not reassembled everything yet so I can not say for 100% sure my problem is solved so I may still be interested in yours.
