This is a genuine Mercedes tool used to connect an impulse counter (i.e., LED blinker box) so you can pull analog fault codes. Using this adapter is MUCH easier than trying to stuff little 1mm diameter pins through the dinky opening on the CAN box. The adapter works with all vehicles that have a 38-pin diagnostic connector. I am selling the adapter only - you must use your own LED impulse code reader, such as this one.

This adapter costs over $200 from most dealers, and is very hard to locate used. It is in perfect working condition, the only flaw is that a few of the numbers are hard to read (see photos below). I have two of these and don't need the extra.
