WTB mb tex blue

I am looking for a small piece of blue MB tex to repair a tear in my driver seat of my 1991 300te. Ideally the piece should be about 5x5 inches.
Also looking for a transfer case for the above mentioned vehicle.
thanks.

The tear is on the edge of the seatback, closest to the door, about where the button on the back pocket of your pants hits as you get into the car.

Oh Jim... mine is 4matic, and the stories - oh man you don't want to hear my problems
We are a small band of early 90's 4matic owners that share a common burden, yet we manage to triumphantly rise above - for months at a time - until our next potentially devastating repair. I regularly hesitate to to fix something minor or cosmetic because any non-essential repairs inevitably summon the evils of major catastrophes. Today I am taunting the dark force by suggesting I may fix an upholstery blemish.
Wish me well.

I have a blue tex seat with a torn base & a broken base spring. The back of the seat, the Tex is nice.

Is it worth $30 + shipping (more for the time & hassle than any "value") to you for the whole tex cover?

Hi David, this is a photo of the tear, I don't think it is worth your time to work on the the whole tex cover for something this small. I am not being cheap, it is just that the whole seatback seems like a bit of overkill - don't you think?
I had imagined a little stuffing and then trying to tuck a small patch under the hole and then fixing it in with contact cement.
I will think of your offer for a while...
Thanks,
Jamie

I have a couple strips sewn together 1 piece is 6x18 the other is 6x10 should be more than enough. it is the middle portion of the back seat and the flap behind the arm rest to cover the hole. VGC. $12 shipped to your door. PM your address and I will send you PayPal info
