*** Wanted - 280 SL Parts (for 113 Chassis "Pagoda" car) ***
 

Hi all,

I'm looking for the following parts:

* Driver's side door
* Inner Rockers - both sides
* Outer rockers - both sides
* Driver's side windshield trim
* Seals and weatherstripping...assorted hoses/rubber parts.


Parts are for a 1971 113 chassis 280 SL. I believe the door is specific to the ('68-'71) 280 range of 133 cars.

Let me know what you have and what you're looking to sell them for.

Door is not specific to the year, but I believe you'll want a 280SL door (1968-1971) because of the door handle hardware. A late-model 250SL may work as well.

I would check with Gernold up at SL Tech in Kennebunkport, ME. Google him and you'll find his site.

Doug, you are correct....

Modifications are required if I go with an earlier door. Yes, I believe late 250 doors are compatible. To eliminate guesswork I'm focusing my search on 280 pieces. Thanks for the feedback.
