my f150 is done for! anybody need parts?

I know a lot of you MB lovers have a junkie f150 that you drive around on occasion, my water pump went out and the truck has too many other issues to address. There are some very good parts if you guys need anything.

92 f150

Trans was rebuilt 8 months ago, still in A-1 shape
New tires and rims
engine still runs, (not in the best shape) 6 cylinder
interior is very good, red in color,
brand new egr valve, never installed
Anything else, just ask...

The trans? I believe its 86-92. the trans is an E4OD transmission.

Most parts were similar on these things from 86-92

Thumbs up

E4OD did not come out until 1989 and has 20 pan bolts

1988 had either the AOD or the C6 autos

460/Diesel E4OD will not swap with small block 4.9/5.0/5.8 motors. Different bellhousing.

Your best bet is just to score a built unit from Suncoast.

Not a prob. I'd probably get one with 4R100 planets, roller bearing center support, TransGo Tugger kit, and the like. Not the cheapest, but beats having it fall apart with sub-par builds.

Some 4.9s had the AOD trans behind them, almost always in 2x4 config. That trans is 14 bolts on the pan.

On a side note the 460/444 Diesel bell housings are different as well.
