yeah, but you might not care as much as you swerve off the road:P

I suppose it might even be the reason I lose all control

I have one I pulled off a 78 or 79 240D that had 160,000 mi. I just grabed it for a spare. If you are intersted, Iam coming up to portland on friday.

Pm me.

is the adjustment screw backed out much?

did you give it a little jiggle test? You know how I feel about the jiggle test.... I suppose you wouldn't have tortured yourself with its removal if it wasn't worth the effort.

Send me a PM with your asking price, please.

Well I couldn`t turn the wheel since it was in a locked position. I`ll go out
and take a look in the morning, it`s dark and spooky out there by the barn, and my wife isn`t here to protect me . She is in Tigard, reason for
me coming up.

Looks like you aren`t too far from there.

I can get there pretty easily, that's true. How long will you be around?

ps.. you're a lucky man to have such a strong woman by your side. Waayy too many horror movies have eerie barn scenes in them. Hay and blood everywhere, chilling.. really.
