I thought I'd give the MB guys/gals first crack at these. I've got two Michelin Pilot Sports 245-40-ZR17. Virtually new. Were used on an SL before starmark. I was going to use them on my 124 but I scored a set of Conti Sport Contacts. No room to keep as backups. I'm offering them for $150/pair. Boston area. I don't want to mail them, so anyone that's interested in the area or is willing to take a trip for them will be pleased. Let me know.
Thanks,
Bill

How much $ did it cost to do the steering wheel conversion on your car? Also, how'd you stick xenons in a W124?

The steering wheel conversion was quite simple and cost me nothing but a little time. My 91 was equipped with the rectangular airbag like yours. Found someone willing to trade for their 93 wheel and bag which went right on. I then acquired a burlwood takeoff wheel from a 95 Sclass, which the steering wheel guts simply swapped with my existing wheel - right on. As for the xenons, I've got HL assemblies from the 220,215,and 210 (gave away a set of 129s to a friend who runs xenons as the inner foglamps on his 124). The 210 setup seems the easiest to adapt. I have gutted them and am now fabricating it to work with a set of 95 124 HLs that I have lying around. Once I get them working it's time to upgrade the hood to the 95 style!
