WTB: Nardi Steering Wheel

Not really in any rush to get one, but would like to throw it out there just in case anyone wants to part with theirs. Will settle for just the wheel, although the hub would be great too.

It would be for a 123.

Thanks!

Where have you seen one of those?

The MB steering wheels are collapsible and safer. I wasn't really thinking about that at the time, but I was only 17. My only regret from that year is picking out a faceplate that was too "blingy".

This is where I got mine, but they do have a dubious reputation and the price on the wheels as increased in the last 6 years. I've had nothing but good luck with them.

I actually really liked the way it looked/felt when I drove the SL, which is part of the reason I want one. I think it will fit Norm nicely, I've seen a few pictures of 123's with them and it didn't look out of place.

But hey, at least your faceplate wasn't a Sony Xplod.

I know you're probably looking for a wooden Nardi wheel but I have a 330mm leather Nardi steering wheel available for $125. I'm gonna use the horn button on my other steering wheel so it is not included.

I think I may also have a Nardi hub for a W123 in my garage. I'll have to go out and check and see if it is the Nardi bolt pattern or a Momo bolt pattern.

Yeah I thought about a black one considering the original wheel is obviously black, but it looks a bit out of place compared to the wooden wheel.

If you are willing to part with just the hub let me know.

My 300D's Nardi has chrome spokes and black leather surround. I love it. I never liked the oversize OEM one.

You can find the hub is available at Nardi retailers. Do a web search.
At least it was 2-3 yrs ago.....

The smaller wheel for me was out of necessity. The seat in my SL doesn't go back far enough, causing the stock wheel to hit my legs. The Nardi fixed that.

I don't have a problem with my current wheel, just want to customize the car to my liking. Don't worry, I'm not putting a fart can or anything on it, just some tasteful stuff.

Plus I really liked Tylers

I have a Nardi wheel in my W123. I love the thing, aside from the fact that it blocks the top of my instruments (even the biggest nardi wheel isn't as big as the OEM benz wheel). I really need to find a way to get the micro-scratches out of the chrome parts, but here's a pic of how it looks in my car:

Sorry, not for sale, though. =)

Here is a photo of what one looks like in my old 123 wagon. I was able to get a NOS Mercedes horn button on eBay which I think makes it look pretty darn cool.

I got mine on Craigslist for $150. You should spring for the actual Nardi hub though, don't get the Momo hub, they look like doo doo.

spline?

What is the steering shaft/spline size on a 84 300cd? Is it 21mm?
