Low Mileage E320 Engine & transmission

I have an engine & transmission from a '95 E320

54,000 original miles

$1200 for the engine $600 for the transmission

The engine wiring harness & throttle actuator are not included with the engine

It runs perfectly, obviously

LOL how does it obviously run perfectly without the ETA and wiring harness. Wouldn't run at all without those two very important and very expensive parts LOL. For 500 bones though it would be a good gamble.

I have a video of this engine running before I removed it if anyone is interested.

I also have the carfax for the car that the engine came from and the build sheet.

That's how most used parts operations work, and David Hendy's is one of the best of the bunch.

The fact that he has a video of it running is above and beyond. Most just say it was run tested, offer a 30 day warranty, and might do a compression test if you ask real nicely (if the car hasn't been taken apart too much yet).

I also think its a good deal for that low mileage of a motor with documentation. If I were buying it I'd want the instrument cluster as well.

Thanks for the reference!

Attached is a picture of the cluster. Its from an ASR car, but its not THAT big a deal to swap out the odometer to a non ASR cluster.
