WTB: Tach/Clock for '84 W123 300TD Turbo

I have an '84 Euro 300TD Turbo that doesn't have a tach, just a (working) clock. I'm looking for the tach/clock unit to replace. I'm pretty sure I have everything else, except maybe the pickup on the crank, but not sure. Let me know what you've got. Thanks.

I have a clock/tach taken from a 1982 280E 123 car. The clocks works well and I have no way of testing the tach. I have no idea if it is compatible with your car.

I'm pretty sure the gasser tachs are different than the diesel tachs. Thanks though!

Do you need one with the silver button on the needle?

If so, I got one off an '82 300D.

PM and make me an offer if interested.

Hmm, I thought I heard something about that. What's the EDS unit? So I can't just use the old style then...maybe I need to post a question in the forum first.

The thing is that I don't have a tach at all, not that it is broken. I just have a big clock. I want to swap the big clock out and replace with the regular two-in-one tach and clock. However, I don't know if I have the other parts necessary to make the tach work on an 84 euro turbo diesel.

And yes of course you can stay on my couch and ski. I get half price lift tickets!

Double bummer! Haha. Thanks for the info. I guess we'll see if anyone else has any ingenious ideas...

Just so folks know, this can be done. See Adding a tach to my euro 84 300TD, what do I need?.

So, looking for a 2 prong tach/clock from a '82 or '83 300D or CD, or '81 -'83 TD. I also need the tach amp that screws into the diagnostic port and the cable/plug for the tach.

Thanks!
