WTB blue MB-Tex seat cover, driver bottom, W124

The driver's seat bottom of my 1987 300D Turbo has been damaged. I have patched it but would like to install another seat cover. For some reason, I can't find one in the dark blue MB-Tex that Mercedes used in those years. Anyone got one? I'll buy a whole seat if I have to.

Jeremy

Dark Blue

Keep looking and you will find it.. I have found 3 from 124's during the last 10 days. However shipping is a killer from IN to Ca. I have a friend in Ca and when he contacts me I will have him contact you.. He sells Mercedes parts .

I agree that shipping a whole seat would be expensive but am told that it is possible to remove the MB-Tex cover from the bottom seat pad. If you found a dark blue seat and removed the MB-Tex, it would not cost much to ship. I would pay for the whole seat and you could do what you wanted with the rest -- the adjustment motors might be worth putting on eBay, for example.

Look for a passenger side seat cover. Should be the same but with much less wear.

Excellent suggestion. Strange that all of the W124s in the local (Windsor, Calif.) 'Pick and Pull' are tan or black or red or oyster, never dark blue.
