WTB" W201 clutch
I know it sounds weird....
I need a decent used W201 2.3 clutch... has to be a 2.3(8.5") clutch. I am getting ready to start my 5-spd swap trials and the clutch disk was damaged when removing the transmission from the donor car. New clutch disk's are like $100... once all the kinks are worked out I will buy a W201 performance clutch kit. Till then I would like to have a nice used one. pm please. Thanks

Keep us informed on the 5spd swap! I have a bit of a weakness for the manual trans. My recently sold 190D2.5 was a 5 spd, kept it almost 20 years. When moving into the W124 series, I found the right car with the wrong trans., swapped in a 5 spd and all the bits from a junk yard. It transformed the car. I'm still driving that one daily and loving it  . Also have another 300E "conversion" kit on the shelf waiting for mom to stop driving, turn in her low mileage E320. At that point a good auto trans will be put up for sale .
