WTB: W124 lowering springs/shocks

After looking at http://zilvia.net/f/off-topic-chat/216780-eurotrash-pictures-pimp-shizz-only-plz.html I decided I really do want to lower my W124. I am looking for 4 springs with shocks. This is for my '87 300D

Thanks

Here is a link of what is available from TireRack.

You will probably want...
Bilstein HD Struts for the front,
Bilstein HD Shocks for the back,
H&R Sport Spring Set for replacement springs,
while you are at it, it is a good idea to replace the front strut mounts as seen from your engine bay. Don't forget 2 new strut boots for the front struts.

I just priced out a complete kit and it comes to $869.00 before shipping & tax.

ya I have priced it before. Kinda hoping to find someone with some used stuff. Guess I could cut the springs... but I doubt that would work out well

124 In Dayton

Their is a 124 in Dayton you can pick up for 500 dollars... Wrecked in front end... all 4 doors and everything to the rear is OK... The car has been lowered. One good rim you can part out for 50 and maybe 2 more that you can 25 each and sell the door parts and doors and get your money back... Plus dash is good, climate control etc.. Jim

Not Now

I was told the car would run and I took my assistant with me to Dayton.. We took a radiator, hoses and a set of headlights. We hood a come a long and pulled the front end out.. replaced a cut hose, both headlights and were ready to head for home and the car would not start.. The car was getting fire to the distributor but no fire was coming out of the distributor... We messed with the car for about 5 hours total plus a 6 hour drive up there. I had been told that the engine would just purr like a kitten. Then the owner admitted he had been driving the car maybe a half hour at a time. The radiator hose had a long rip in it. He said that when it got up to red he would shut it off... I am not going back with a trailor... Not Now or anytime soon...
