This listing is for two items sold together.

First is the gray center console “oddments” box with burled walnut wood covering in great shape, Mercedes part numbers A 124 683 48 36, A 1246834836, A 124 680 08 52, A 1246800852, A 124 680 47 17, A 1246804717, A 124 680 29 84, A 1246802984.

The console lock has been disassembled, an obstruction inserted to disable the key locking function, and reassembled so the latch will function properly without the key while retaining the original appearance. This modification can easily be reversed.

The console box is easily installed with 2 screws. It was designed to replace storage space lost with inclusion of a passenger side airbag that is installed in the glove box area.

Second is the matching driver’s armrest with telephone compartment in gray leather, Mercedes part number A 124 970 60 30, A 1249706030. There is a small worn spot that could be covered with some leather dye. Also included is the original obsolete Mercedes telephone handset (it does not work with modern cell networks, but looks neat). The telephone handset easily unclips and its cradle unscrews so you can use the area for additional storage. The armrest installs with 2 13mm bolts.
