Euro w123 part (black interior parts), anyone?

There's a Euro '82 280 at a PNP in the St Louis area; the headlights are gone, and front bumper's NOT Euro, but ther interior is pretty nice (split black on black). Driver's seat is pretty nasty, but the rest, and the door cards, looked OK.

I grabbed the read deck carpet (black) and first aid box; the speaker holes aren't even cut out on it. I also snagged the black sun visor clips (one is excellent, the other decent; both will function perfectly). If anyone's interested, shoot me a PM (and PM me for details on the location of the car).

Hey Gene -- nah, different yard. I'll send anyone interested the address if they plan to use the interior themselves; otherwise, I may try ti get back and pull it myself to resell.

Didn't get a chance to get to Speedway; it was a busy weekend! I need to go check it out for a few Jeep parts, though.

Take care!

Sorry, Nate -- it has power front windows, but they are a conversion, and they used the switch panel above the CC unit to house the switches.

Hey Jim -- the fabric portion is not velour... it's more of a tiny rectangular checker pattern, the checkers being alternating flat and semi-glossy. Kind of hard to describe, but actually quite nice. I hope no one leaves any of the doors open, or tears any of it up before i can get back to look at it again. If it's still there when I get back down there in April, I will probably try to grab at least the door cards and sun visors. Not sure anyone would buy just the pass. and rear seats since the driver's seat has seen better days; I don't suspect there are many like this out there, and I am quite sure one wouldn't be able to match the fabric to re-do the driver's seat. It's a really unique pattern!

Sounds different.

I've got a very nice black velour interior in a 81 280E euro.
Only flaw is the driver's backrest bolster with the typical wear on the lower outside. Wonder if you can still get the ribbed material?

Jim

That's a good question... guess that's the price you pay for a Euro interior. PITA to replace bits and pieces! Is yours the corduroy-like velour I have seen on occasion? Sharp!

That's it. The edges have that material.

Interior

Anybody think this interior would fit a 108. Need something although would rather have mB tex or leather in lighter color.
