FS: W201 Mercedes Technician Manuals

Up for sale is a complete set (4 manuals) of Mercedes Technician Manuals. These are the books that the service department uses. They are for the 190e, years 1984 thru 1993. The books cover the different engines used in these models, along with the chassis, electrical, and transmissions. The engine manual is used but very good condition. The other 3 books are used as well, but hardly noticeable.

Update: Chassis, electrical and engine manuals sold. Tranny service is still available for $20 bucks.

Would you sell me the tranny service manual?

I'm actually trying to sell them as a complete set.

I cant afford to buy the complete set from you now, but does anyone know what it would take to scan the whole lot to PDF?

I'd pay 40$ for a CD/DVD. The OP would clear the $200 mark in no time.

Is this available electronically some where already?

Several reasons why I'm asking $200. MB doesn't print or sell these manuals anymore, In a lot of the manuals I've seen online, they PDF the bullet points, so pages are missing, and the scan quality is poor. Most importantly, I've never seen an online manual that includes the tranny service.

And yea, it would take a bunch of cash to print over 1000 pages with good quality images.

I wouldnt print any of it. I am curious simply about scanning to pdf to use as digital reference.

It would certainly be spendy, but I would think that after 20 people order a CD, you'd be at 800$ gross.

Does it cover the M103 engine? Looks like only the M102 is indicated. The chassis/body, trans and electrical manuals are worth getting though.

Hi, it covers all of the 102 engines including the 2.3 16 through 1993.

I'm not a mechanic, but I'm guessing you can use the 102 manual to troubleshoot a 103 engine. They only differ by two extra cylinders?

BUMP- Dropped the price to $150.
