FS - 220D long block
I do not have any affiliation with these folks other than being a customer having some 240D engine machine work done. They have a rebuilt 240D engine #615 912 10 074644 that I feel like they will cut loose dirt cheap. This is a very reputable shop that has the capabilities to do these engines justice. The engine he has available is a "long block" (cylinder head, injection pump, etc) with all new (as needed parts) ready to be put back into service. Seems a customer brought it in awhile back for rebuild and never came back to pick it up. I took a gander into the oil fill hole and it looks like it is brand new. Call Gary at Cassidy Automotive Machine shop - Macon, Ga. (478) 746-3296. This is a good, straight up kind of guy. I hated it was not a 616 912 engine.
