W126 headlight buckets FREE
I converted my car to European headlights and thus I have the DOT headlight assemblies left over. I am cleaning out the garage and would like to get rid of them. Everything is there and intact except the plastic lenses....apparently referred to as the headlight door....which are cracked and missing chunks of plastic. With new "doors" you have an original set of lights. The lenses over the headlights are fine. Free except if I have to ship, the cost of shipping will have to be paid. Pick up is just fine.

The US DOT headlight had a plastic "trim" that went around the entire light leaving the headlight/lens/reflector exposed. The European version has a glass lens covering the entire headlight. The "trim" piece (or door) on these DOT lights is old and cracked and needs replacement. The glass lens headlight is fine and present in both light buckets as well as the fog light portion. Why it is called a "door" is anyone's guess. I have attached a picture.
