it looks like condition is "F7" which upon further review means
"Economically reparable material which requires repair, overhaul, or reconditioning. Includes reparable items. ¶ '"but it sure looks new to me

It's got the Engine I.D. tag riveted to the engine @ Flywheeel

Normal engine number location is on the "Flat" ,just forward of the I.P.
AND original engine No. is Stamped into the Block "Flat".

This may be a New Mercedes Factory Reman.
[Mercedes will removes the Original Engine Number on the "Flat"]
(The Factory Remans All have a New Engine I.D. tag affixed to the engine block
near the Bell housing,So this Engine has at some point been re-manufactured by MB)

AND that sucker sure looks clean and new-ish!

It's still sitting in the "blocked" supporting crate.

$3,000.00 for an OM603 Factory reman would be a Steal...
$1,012.00 is virtually, FREE.
