just checked online and there is a 240d at the pull and pay near my house. if anyone has requests for parts they would like me to check for please let me know. I am going to try to make a trip out tomorrow after school.

How was the center console. Would it work on '83 300D? What color was the interior? If Palamino, what about the condition of the carpet?

unfortunately I have not had a chance to go see it yet, but I might be able to check it out tomorrow. I will bring a magnet with me when I do. as far as the center console, It should fit your 300D but I'm not sure of the year when they made power windows and a power side mirror standard. I'll pull it anyway if it's still there.
I was at the GTG, you had the white 300D. I saw you on the highway later that day (I was in the silver coupe)

Actually, I did rideshare with Michael, who had the white car. I have an avocado colored '83 300D, which I parked at MIchael's house, before we hopped in his car to drive to Titusville, from Tampa. Between us, we only had enough $$ to take one car, and after seeing his poor beast, I thought it best that he bring his for al the advice he could get, especially with the hood problems. LOL.

But had a great time. Was nice to put faces to te nics.

went to the pull/pay today. no wheels and most of everythin had already been taken by the other vultures. the center console wood was for a manual window and only had the sound orientation switch and warning light switch holes, so no go vic.
