Gauging interest W124 E320 parts
I've got a 1994 E320. Black/Grey leather. I bought it off of a guy on craigslist, he said it stopped running on him, in the week it sat in the parking lot at his work (wrong end of town) it got keyed, a door got kicked in, someone actually managed to break into the car by bending the drivers door frame and proceeded to smash the column.
I bought it for the rebuild of the 1992 300D I bought. I used the horns, that rod they mount to, some various tabs, brackets etc. I bought it so I wouldn't have to buy all sorts of nickel and dime parts. I used the stereo out of it, and I think we ended up using a power window switch. I was going to do the 94+ nose conversion to the '92 and I may still. My friend is currently storing it, he got it to run, he said it ran rough, he said something about he thinks it has collapsed rings and the car didn't have any coolant in it. We think the head is good, but the shortblock is a rebuilder or core only. So here is the question, do people want M104 W124 parts or should I just crush it? The car is in Cincinnati, I am in Columbus if people want stuff I'll go get it and drag it up here and get to parting it out. Car is not rusty and has not been hit, the front seats are cracked but the rear seat looked okay, the door cards looked okay. Who needs what?
