Buzzard(s) worked over car already (me). Have transmission out of 82 300sd w/ 168k on odo. Trans apparently works, as it backed the car out of storage and pulled forward ok. Trunk lid is composite aluminum original, no dings. Would prefer to find homes to these items rather than store. Other additional engine parts (turbo, IP, etc) are coming available soon. PM with what you are interested in. Don't know if shipping trunk is a good option. Located in Memphis, TN.

OK, not much interest yet. Transmission IS in good shape-I am using engine from same wrecked car in my daily driver. Compression figures were in 390-410 range..ie good shape and I would expect the transmission is in good shape also. Car was wrecked (totaled) in front end; in other words someone had been driving it some when it was hit. Mileage on car did show 168,000 and it had to be pretty close to that. I have stripped the car and sold many parts; need to get rid of body (carcass) soon and would like to sell trans rather than store it. (mine is working very well,thankfully).

If interested, might be able to arrange shipping/transport. Already out of car and can be placed on pallet.

Someone needs to buy this trunk lid ---- otherwise it's going to end up in my step van storage area. I'll be happy to deliver for mhin1956 during one of my upcoming journeys this summer.
