Back in March I bought some Benz parts from benzboys.com on ebay where he is no longer a seller. The parts came in ok and with a card giving the web site as www.benzboys.com and a phone of 517-575-0188.

I called and spoke with David Alexa. We struck a deal for which I paid him thru paypal that day. He told me he had a W123 coming in and would be sending the $7 part in 'a few days'.

About 3 wks later I called to again here 'a few days'

Many calls later most of which went to voice mail, David finally answered and said '2 days from now.....' and of course NADA.

Ive had no further calls answered on his phone.

Net result... buy from him at your own risk, you have been warned.

He's advertising cars and parts on Benzworld right now.

I bought a dashboard from him on Ebay for a couple hundred bucks and it never materialized, all I ever got was a tracking number which UPS said they got information from the shipper on. After more than two months Ebay gave me back my money because he refused to, claiming that UPS must have lost it.

I've been to their shop, looks like a father and son operation parting out cars. In person they didn't seem to bad to look at, but he did advertize the 83 300SD we were looking at as having "some rust"... you could see daylight through the seat tracks

always, always, always use a credit card to pay via paypal. That gives you leverage to contact the credit card company who will happily cancel the transaction. -CTH

I have seen their Ebay stuff before. Did you open a case within Ebay?

Also, if you paid with PayPal, be sure to open a dispute with them. They're pretty good about refunding your money if you never received your item.

If you purchased through ebay and never got your merchandise, no matter how you paid for it. Call the police department in the city where the item is located and make a report. Get copies of all the emails and transaction numbers or what ever proof you have. The police department will handle it. This is called internet fraud. Not sure how much money you are out. Or if this is worth it to you, for me it was worth it
I had a similar experience ONE time on ebay, waited about 2 months for my merchandise because the seller asked me to, by then ebay and paypal would not do anything to help...it burned me up this jerk got me for $100.

Called the police dept in his city. Not too long after making my report I had my money back...they threatened to lock him up!! This was about 4 months after the transaction waaay past time for a paypal or ebay dispute

I recently got burned from this guy on e-bay. I bought some euro headlight lenses and I told him to package them carefully and he said don't worry I used to package fragile goods for a living. Well when the lenses showed up in a printer box with a couple pieces of crumbled up newspaper in them and one of the lenses was broke in a million pieces I was Ticked! I e-mailed him and he said Oh yeah no worries I ensured them and I have an extra lens here I will send out...........Well NADA no lens no more contact! Now I see he is no longer a registered user on E-Bay so I filed a dispute with paypal to see if I can get my money back. Thanks TnBob for bringing this seller to everyone's attention in hopes no one else will bet taken by this seller.
